She took from the shelf love letters

staring back over her shoulder witnessed

a tumbling of words memories

collapsing, no longer upright and

stiff. Once a tender sore gaping wound

today rather more than lithe funny

adventurous and self-contained with

an absence of self-pity. Meeting up

again with yourself more fluidly its

ok be excited about life ahead
